I'm having trouble tracking an outbound navigation link.
I want to be able to track one particular outbound link, but that link is within the navigation (as a non-clickable page called "catalog", in https://www.farmington.lib.me.us/ ).
I have added the recommended google analytics script to the header in settings.
Where I want it to go is: https://farmington.biblionix.com/catalog/
Here is the recommended link setup:
<a href="www.example.com" onclick="trackOutboundLink('www.example.com); return false;">Check out example.com</a>
Whan added to the navlink, it breaks it...presumably because of the example text part?
How can I reconfigure this so that it will work in the weebly navigation?

I have a guide on my blog about 3 different ways to track outbound links - using GTM or the custom script would work if you're having difficulty adding the tracking manually: http://www.joehessert.com/seo/google-analytics-external-link-tracking
Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but hopefully it helps!

@JoeH: Thanks Joe. Easy guide. You did follow Hemingway's advice!
